With the AS_PATH attribute values, it's clear that VIF 2 has a more specific network address and uses the same AS_PATH value as VIF 1, but with an additional path element. This means that when traffic is sent from the Direct Connect gateway with a destination address in the 172.16.1.0/24 network range, AWS will use VIF 2 to route the traffic. So, the correct answer is indeed B: AWS will route all traffic by using VIF 2.

Since we are setting a new connection as a backup route before we disable the old connection, it provide a lowest downtime.
