Like balasmaniam said, internet have an MTU of 1500, so B and D are wrong, IGMP won't help, so AC is the answer

transit gateway, do not support jumbo MTU sizes. The maximum supported MTU size is 1500 bytes. so B is out. D is also useless, no impact for the network side.

A transit gateway supports an MTU of 8500 bytes for traffic between VPCs, AWS Direct Connect, Transit Gateway Connect, and peering attachments. For a series of steps that will work, combination of B, D is correct. Note that not all network devices support Jumbo frames, so upgrading to modern instance that support Jumbo MTU makes sense.
