LDP Identifier—A 6-byte field that uniquely identifies the label space of the sending
LSR (label switch router). The first 4 bytes identify the LSR and must be a globally
unique value, such as a 32-bit router ID. The last 2 bytes identify a specific label
space within the LSR (Figure 12.3). If the router uses a per-platform label space, this
value is zero. The 7750 SR uses a per-platform label space.
