Two IS-IS L1/L2 routers are in the same area on the same Ethernet segment. One of the routers is the DIS. How many adjacencies will be formed between them?
The designated router reduces the number of adjacencies required because each router forms an adjacency only with the DIS router. That gives 2 adjacencies. One for L1 and another one for L2.
