BGP protocol traffic is configured with dscp none. This indicates the default DSCP value is to be used. The default
DSCP value for protocol traffic is NC1. This value will be used to mark the DSCP field of BGP traffic originating at this
node. For BGP protocol traffic, the default forwarding class is NC. Self-generated traffic is always in-profile.
2. Since the BGP application is configured to use the default marking, the DSCP to forwarding class mapping is ignored.
The internal marking remains fc=NC, in-profile.
