Selected Answer: A
For a patient diagnosed with sepsis and associated acute respiratory failure, the ICD-10-CM code selection would be: A41.9 (Sepsis, unspecified organism) as the primary code, followed by R65.2 (Severe sepsis) to indicate the organ dysfunction related to the sepsis, and J96.0 (Acute respiratory failure, unspecified)

I would think that the answer is D.A41.9 J96.00. Because it states that the patient was diagnosed with sepsis code A41.9 Sepsis, unspecified organism (ICD-10-CM) And (ICD-10-CM) J96.00 Acute respiratory failure . ( associate) in Dictionary word associate means connected with something else. So that's why i chose D.A41.9;J96.00
